Valorant FPS Nightmare on Iris Xe (i5-1135G7) – Stuck at 10 FPS While Others Get 120+!

URGENT: Unplayable FPS Drops in Valorant on i5-1135G7 + Iris Xe – Need REAL Fix!

Hi Intel Team & Community,

I’m seriously frustrated at this point. I’m trying to play Valorant on my ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 with the following specs:

  • Intel i5-1135G7 (11th Gen)

  • Intel Iris Xe Graphics

  • 16GB DDR4 RAM (recently upgraded)

  • Graphics Driver: 32.0.101.6877

This setup should easily run Valorant smoothly — yet I’m stuck at a crippling 10 FPS, with random drops to 1 FPS making the game completely unplayable. I’ve tried every known optimization, power settings, BIOS tweaks, background process cleaning — nothing helps.

I’ve seen many posts suggesting to downgrade to driver version 27.20.100.8476, but that’s officially for up to 10th Gen CPUs. Mine is 11th Gen, and I’m not sure if it’s safe or smart to force that downgrade.

What makes this worse? Other users with the exact same specs are getting 100–120+ stable FPS. Why is mine choking?

Please — I need a real fix or at least guidance. I’ve spent hours troubleshooting, and I’m out of options.
Is there any tested, safe driver version or setting that actually works for 11th Gen Iris Xe users in Valorant?

Help me out, Intel. This is killing my experience.

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

Have you tried using the OEM driver for testing?

When did the issue start? Was it after a specific driver update or game patch?

Have you used DDU to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?

Have you tried adjusting the graphics settings?

Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?

Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?
